The port of Santa Teresa di Gallura is located on the northernmost tip of Sardinia. There is the strait of Bonifacio, which separates Sardinia from Corsica. There are ferry connections to the French island of Corsica and to other parts of Sardinia. In the port there are several restaurants and cafes that offer fresh seafood and traditional Sardinian dishes. There are also numerous stores with local handicrafts and souvenirs.
Also the area around the port offers visitors crystal clear water for swimming as well as a panoramic view of the strait and the mountains of Corsica. Nearby is the beautiful beach Rena Bianca. Adjacent to the port is the historic center of Santa Teresa di Gallura.
